Richard is a partner in our corporate and commercial team where he specialises in business and share sales and acquisitions, business structuring, shareholder agreements, financing and securities, leasing, agribusiness, forestry and the ETS, commercial contracts, commercial property transactions and commercial advice.

Richard is Hawke’s Bay born and bred, hailing from Wairoa and completing his secondary schooling at Napier Boys High School where he was Head Prefect in 2009. He first joined us in 2015, worked in London from 2017 to 2019 in various legal roles, and returned to us in 2019.

Richard was admitted to the Partnership of Sainsbury Logan & Williams on 1 April 2025.
